June 2007: CHECKPOINT 303 LIVE IN PALESTINE

After our recent shows in France, Sweden and Belgium, we are pleased to annouce the following Checkpoint 303 live sets in Palestine:

Thursday 21.06 @ 9 pm Café Zan, RAMALLAH
Saturday 23.06 @ 5 pm Beit Hanina College, East JERUSALEM
Sunday 24.06 @ 6 pm Annajah University Theater, NABLUS
Monday 25.06 @ 7 pm The Spanish Garden, JERICHO
(Our concert in Gaza city was unfortunately cancelled)

In addition to these dates in Jerusalem and the West Bank, Checkpoint 303 will also be performing in Nazareth on Friday 22.06 at Mary's well square starting at 7 pm. More info here: event program (french).

Parc du Cinquantenaire, Brussels, Belgium



CP-303 will participate on Sat. 9th of June 2007 in a benefit concert to be held in Brussels (Belgium) in protest againt the illegal occupation of Palestinian land. The open-air festival will take place at the parc du cinquantenaire and will also feature the Orchestre National de Barbes, Manu Hermia, Studio Pagol and many more.

CP-303 will participate on Thursday 7th of June 2007 in a Cheikh Imam tribute concert in Paris.

Focus:Palestine Festival, Malmö, Sweden



CP-303 participated in a benefit concert in support of the freedom theater in Jenin as part of the events organized during the Focus:Palestine Festival in Malmö & Lund (Sweden). Read the full program (pdf)

Feb 2007: Live performance in the UK with Massive Attack



checkpoint 303 was invited to perform a set opening up for three Massive Attack benefit concerts in the UK organised by the Hoping Foundation. The funds raised will help improve the living conditions of Palestinian children in refugee camps in the West Bank , Gaza, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.
